B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry
From Pilani to Miranda House: Riya Chaudhary's Journey
Determination, opportunity and the right guidance helped Riya Chaudhary overcome financial barriers, clear JEE and secure admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry at Miranda House, Delhi, through Parmartham’s Saksham Bharat programme.

Riya Chaudhary comes from a middle-class family in Pilani, Rajasthan. Her father, Mukesh Kumar, is a retired Army personnel, and her family has always stood firmly behind her dreams.
Preparing for JEE, however, required quality coaching, study material, and expert guidance, resources that are difficult for a middle-class family to arrange. Riya had the will to succeed, but often wondered how she would manage the expenses.
Through Parmartham's Saksham Bharat programme, Riya received free residential coaching along with accommodation, study material, and guidance. With the financial worry lifted, she could focus fully on her studies and went on to clear JEE. Her teachers and mentors guided her with sincerity, and their small, thoughtful gestures made the hostel feel like a second home.
Along the way, Riya's interest in chemistry grew into a passion, and it drove her to secure admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry at Miranda House. She is now exploring research in material and medicinal chemistry, particularly their applications in cancer treatment.
Riya's story reflects what Parmartham works towards every day: support, offered with care at the right time, that shapes not just a student's future but her confidence and her wish to give back.
