From a Village in Bihar to a Dream of Becoming a Doctor
Aditya Kumar Yadav’s journey from a village in Bihar towards his dream of becoming a doctor, supported by Parmartham’s Saksham Bharat programme.

Aditya Kumar Yadav comes from a small village in Bihar. His father is a small farmer. Although neither of them had the chance to go to school, they always believed that education could change their son’s life. From a young age, Aditya dreamed of becoming a doctor.
With limited resources, preparing for NEET seemed a distant possibility. The cost of quality coaching, books and living away from home was far beyond what his family could afford.
Then, one of Aditya’s teachers told him about Parmartham, and that conversation became the turning point of his journey.
Through Parmartham’s Saksham Bharat programme, Aditya was enrolled at Narayana Coaching Institute, Jaipur. Parmartham took care of his coaching fees, books, hostel accommodation and transport, so that he could give his full attention to his studies. More importantly, the Parmartham team stood by him throughout the year with guidance and encouragement, so that he never felt alone while living far from home.
“I was not born into a family with many resources, but through Parmartham, I found the courage to dream bigger. Whatever I achieve in the future will always carry the names of the teachers from Parmartham who stood beside me when I was just beginning my journey.”
Aditya’s story reminds us that talent exists in every corner of the country, including its smallest villages. What many deserving students lack is not ability but opportunity. When the right support reaches them at the right time, a dream that once seemed out of reach can become a real possibility.
