From Financial Struggles to BHU: Dharmendra Mehra’s Inspiring Journey

Dharmendra Mehra, a student from Deoli in Tonk district, Rajasthan, comes from a humble family background. His father, Mr. Premlal Mehra, and mother, Mrs. Sumitra Devi, always valued education, but their financial condition was not strong enough to afford expensive coaching institutes or support living away from home for competitive exam preparation.
Like many talented students from rural areas, Dharmendra also faced the fear that lack of resources might stop him from achieving his dreams. However, his journey took a positive turn when he received support through Parmartham.
Through Parmartham, Dharmendra was provided with free coaching, accommodation, and hostel facilities. This support removed the burden of financial stress and allowed him to fully focus on his studies and career goals.
Along with JEE preparation, he also started preparing for CUET. The journey was not easy there were many ups and downs, moments of pressure, self-doubt, and challenges during preparation, but the disciplined environment, continuous motivation, and guidance from teachers at Parmartham helped him stay focused and determined.
Whenever he felt low, the support system around him encouraged him to keep moving forward and never give up. His hard work and dedication finally paid off when he scored well in CUET and secured admission to the prestigious Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Today, Dharmendra is proudly pursuing his higher education at BHU , something that once seemed difficult due to financial limitations.
Dharmendra remains deeply grateful to Parmartham for transforming his journey and giving him the opportunity to dream bigger. His story is not just about academic success but also about how the right guidance and support can change the future of deserving students.
